Jackie Boy's Crew Foundation 3rd Annual Golf Classic

At Jackie Boy’s Crew Foundation, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome. We are thrilled to share the incredible outcome of our previous year's golf fundraiser. Thanks to the generous contributions and support from our donors and participants, we will be able to direct the proceeds towards an exciting project at ACDS Summer Camp.

Last year, we partnered with ACDS to enhance their summer camp experience and are looking to create a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere for campers. We proudly directed the funds towards the construction of a state-of-the-art splash pad on their school grounds. This remarkable addition will transform their summer camp, providing a safe and enjoyable water play area for children with Down Syndrome and their peers.

The splash pad will bring a camp-like ambiance, allowing campers to cool off, engage in water play, and create lasting memories during the hot summer months. It offers a variety of interactive water features, stimulating sensory experiences, and a joyful environment that promotes socialization, physical activity, and overall well-being.

By investing in the ACDS Summer Camp splash pad project, we aimed to foster inclusivity, promote active participation, and empower children with Down Syndrome to thrive in an environment designed specifically for their unique needs. We firmly believe in the transformative power of recreational activities in building confidence, enhancing social skills, and nurturing personal growth.

This year we are proud to honor Joan McCabe.  Joan's inspirational journey into the heart of the Down Syndrome community began 33 years ago with the birth of her beloved daughter, Claire. As a parent, Joan's deep love and dedication set her on a path of unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.  Over the past 25 years, Joan has served as an early intervention teacher through ACDS, where her passion for her work shines brightly. She embraces each day as an opportunity to collaborate with families, sharing in the boundless potential and unique gifts that our children with Down Syndrome offer to the world. Her dedication and tireless efforts have made countless lives brighter and futures filled with hope.
